Malabrigo Rasta Bulky Yarn
The so soft, bulky, cuddly yarn is back in the Sierra! We wished and waited for snow and Rasta yarn. They both arrived! Here are a few colors to get you started on your own warm hat.
I used this fun pattern: Sunrise Hat by Woolly Bear Knits to make this 3 color ombre beanie. This is a wonderfully written pattern. If you have never floated color, the descriptions are easy to follow. Colors used in samples: Fog, Teal Feather or Fuchsia, and Arequita. I was able to make 4 hats (2 women, 1 child, 1 toddler) with my three colors! ❄️🎿🏔
Rasta Yarn 90 yards of 100% Merino Wool. Needle size: 13-15 Gauge: 8-9 sts. = 4inches.
Add a sweet faux fur pom! Pom used: Sky Pilot
Note: On my beanie, I found if I eliminated one row of brim, and one row of color A and B combo (row 16 on teen/womens hat) - I could add 2 rows of color C to ensure this color was highlighted as much as the first two colors.
