About Us 🧶✂️🧵Sierra Cottons and Wools is a quilt, stitch and knit shop located at 117 East Line Street in Bishop, CA. Among the many patterns, books and kits are our originally designed patterns. Our shop carries quilting cottons and flannels, hand-dyed wools and wool felts, over-dye flosses and yarns.
Established in 2006 in tiny June Lake, CA by Barri Sue Gaudet designer for Bareroots Patterns (www.bareroots.com). Sierra Cottons & Wools moved into a larger shop in Bishop, CA in 2009. The Eastern Sierra/Yosemite area is an inspiring place to visit. So many natural wonders to see, so many things to do. The Eastern Sierra is one of the greatest camping, fishing, skiing, hiking, climbing, sightseeing areas in the world. Now you can combine all this wonder with your favorite type of handwork.
